We have a fantastic opportunity arisen for Security Manager (Midlands).
Working in close tandem with the Management team you will be responsible for delivering a consistently high level of Service in accordance with the Integrated Management System.
You will build positive relationships with the customers and staff base by maintaining regular contact through employee welfare check / appraisals and effective communication.
Duties as a Site Security Manager
Manages and trains security guards. Hires and onboard new security guards and do onsite inductions.
Sets the security guard staffing schedule and make weekly work rotas.
Creates all security policies and procedures.
Conducts regular security inspections.
Investigates site incidents, security threats and breaches.
Writes comprehensive security reports such as risk assessment and method statements.
Presents security improvement plans to executives. Leads company emergency response trainings.
Recommends new security technology. Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion. Ensures that the team follows security and privacy laws and standards.
Have Monthly Meetings with Customers and Operations meetings.
Attend all sites regularly to ensure satisfaction with the service delivery.
Ensure all customer / staff queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner and that the customer / staff member is kept fully informed of what action has/is being taken.
Responsible for ensuring manning levels for each assignment are at full complement, and security personnel are fully trained to site specification
Review the running of contracts to identify ways in which productivity can be improved whilst maintaining security coverage
Manage the resources in the day-to-day operational functions with a view to succession planning – coaching and developing
Liaise with the HR Department on all matters involving disciplinary/grievance, redundancy, staff welfare/development and recruitment
Job role requirements as a Site Security Manager
A valid SIA – Door Supervision/Security Guarding
First Aid certificate
Previous experience is similar role (preffered)
Organisation and planning of scheduling tasks
Problem solving
Out of hours availability – nights / weekends
