The Elementz need no introduction to most, since the turn of the century Liati and Zoutr have demanded the UK urban club scene stand ups and takes notice of their sound.

A long journey since infant Zoutr tapped out tunes on a £5 organ and pre-school Liati scraped through his battered charity shop vinyls, the pair now boasts a musical appreciation that stretches further than a bungee rope. Raised on an eclectic diet of Soul, Reggae, Punk and Synth Pop, progressing to early hardcore rave and Hip Hop, The Elementz make music that constantly evolves.

From Dj’ing and promoting in the “golden years” of Jungle, the pair shared a sharp palate for sound. Uniting their skills, they emerged in the public eye with their acclaimed 2005 debut “Elementz Universe Volume 1”. Termed one of the strongest Hip Hop records of the year it gained massive support from 1Xtra, Kiss and Galaxy earning them a prize feature on DJ Skitz legendary compilation LP “Homegrown”.

As the snowball effect gained momentum, more and more names collided with their sound. Scorzayzee, Taskforce, and Skinnyman to name but a few let The Elementz take their sound to another galaxy.

2006 saw “Elementz Universe Volume 2” take hold of the urban landscape and it wasn’t long before airwaves became thick with their unique sound enjoying blanket play from the whole 1Xtra roster and was crowned ‘Record of the Week’, the EP also spent six weeks at the summit of Itch FM’s chart and was exclusively chopped and remixed for Bobby Friction on the BBC Asian Network and was broadcast live to 500,000 people worldwide.

2007 saw The Elementz cutting tracks for artists such as Shameless, Ghetto & Lewi White aside recording a vast array of artists from psychedelic rockers right though to Gospel Diva’s having launched their 1st commercial recording studio.

As well MTV Base approached them to create an exclusive cut for Black History Month broadcasted to millions worldwide, The Elementz decided it was time to put their DJ show & Live act back into the limelight. This resulted in an exclusive live support gig for Ghostface Killa at the legendary Rock City arena.

In 2008, Zoutr’s instrumentation skills and live music background coupled with Liati’s “throw down” production attitude saw their eagerly anticipated compilation LP “Crushmode” go supernova. This record spelt the end for the Elementz Universe series and consciously beckoned a new direction for the Elementz music.

Then out of the blue the two received a phone call requesting an official production for none other than Lil Wayne, the resulting track “Ma Money” has caused international hype and acclaim for The Elementz although the two are keen to play this down as their focus continues to shift into a new and more experimental direction.

Enter 2009; The Elementz Productions Ltd was born, with the two operating from their brand new burgeoning recording studio with a client list including Ministry of Sound, MTV and 5 Missions More. The Elementz music itself has contorted once again toward the dance floor.

Enter “Club Music” Fourteen exclusively remixed tracks captivatingly reformed including material from DJ Vadim, Major Lazer, Santigold, Sebastien Tellier, Roots Manuva, M.I.A to name but a few. Tight electronic boogie and jarring bass make Club Music the Nottingham duos’ hottest release yet. This is the hottest, dirtiest, sexiest mix tape you’ve ever heard, 14 tracks that just say... Let’s go to the club.
